Damage caused by Rogue Traders or Cowboy Traders is a blight on our society. This is so distressing, because of the damage and money involved. It is also a cause of embarrassment to the victim.
A Victim of Cowboy Traders
We were called by a lady in Morda who had been a victim of such deceit. A disreputable firm of so-called roofers had removed her roof. Rain was pouring into all the lady’s rooms. She owns a beautiful house with expensive furnishings therefore she understandably was very distressed.
To make matters worse, when she complained to the so-called roofers, they intimidated her with threats. Things were so bad the police had been called.
Damage Not Covered By Insurance
The damage done to the roof and house was not an accident therefore the insurance company of the lady was unable to help her. She was distraught and it was heartbreaking to see.
Oswestry and Wrexham Roofing Recommended
Oswestry and Wrexham Roofing were recommended to this lady and we just had to help. Over the weekend we made sure her roof was watertight, thereby reducing any further damage to the interior of her property.
Our next job was to remove all the previous supposed work undertaken by the previous traders. We re-felted the roof and installed batons. Next we re-tiled the whole roof.
