New EPDM Rubber Roof Installed in Wrexham

A worn and weathered flat roof can soon become a source of leaks and ongoing repair bills. Recently, we completed another flat roof replacement in Wrexham, removing an old felt roof and installing a new EPDM rubber roofing system to provide the homeowner with a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution.

The Existing Roof

The original felt roof had reached the end of its serviceable life. The surface showed signs of age and deterioration, with worn coverings, loose chippings and areas where water could eventually become a problem.

Removing the Old Felt Roof

Our first step was to strip away the existing felt roofing material and remove any loose debris from the roof deck.

Once the old covering had been removed, the roof structure was carefully inspected to ensure it provided a suitable base for the new roofing system. Any preparation work was completed before the new membrane was installed.

Installing a New EPDM Rubber Roof

The new roof was finished using a single-piece EPDM rubber membrane.
