If you have a mansion with a valley roof you are more at risk of having a leaking roof. It’s a fact of property in the UK, the larger your property, the more chance you have a valley roof. And the more valley roofs you have, the more chance you will get unwanted water ingress.

A Mansion in Oswestry

Oswestry and Wrexham Roofing were asked investigate water coming through the roof into a large home in the Oswestry area.

Our initial inspection confirmed the water was coming in through a valley where two pitched roofs join. We provided an estimate for the customer which was accepted.

Use of Scaffolding

We use scaffolding at most properties. This is even more essential at larger properties. Scaffolding provides a safe platform for our workers which therefore gives you peace of mind. Scaffolding removal is a priority after the work is complete. We never use your property as a scaffolding storage area as some companies do!

Lead to Line the Valley Roof

We use lead to create a large gulley. This is because, as the climate changes, and heavier than previous downfalls happen, older gulleys are not always wide enough to cope with this amount of rain.

Lead may seem to be an expensive material. However, torrents of water coming into your property are much more expensive. Therefore, we use the right amount of lead to keep your property waterproof as you can see from the pictures.
