Loft Windows In A Victorian Property
This Victorian property in Oswestry has had a loft conversion but the existing Velux windows were leaking. On inspection we found that the timberwork around them had rotted. The windows themselves were also outdated and did not provide much insulation. Our estimate therefore, was to remove the existing windows and rotten timber and replace with new.
Replacement Tiles
Our roofers removed all tiles and woodwork in the affected area, together with flashing, and replaced with new. This ensures the whole section of this roof is now watertight. As you can see from the pictures, the granite colour on the new window frames fits aesthetically into the roof.
Our customer was extremely happy with the work we did for them. And when it begins to rain again, their loft conversion will be a lot dryer. Such a relatively simple fix like this can prolong the life of your roof and indeed your whole property.
